Learn how to make a website using a popular open source content management system!
This class will cover everything you need to know to install and manage a website, as well as the basics of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery and PHP, so that you can achieve custom design and functionality for your dream site.
All students will need to own a laptop running a modern operating system such as Mac OS 10.6 or later, Windows 7 or later, or Linux. Students will be required to install and use a code editor and an FTP client. Depending on the student's chosen project, it may also be necessary to install MAMP or WAMP, to run the site locally. Pre-requisites may apply.
