Spring Vase Making/Decorating Workshop
Length: 2h.
Create your own stunning, original spring vase! This advanced-beginner to intermediate workshop will be taught by artist, Lucy Schaeffer. In four packed sessions, we will cover throwing and shaping a vase (including collaring in a neck), trimming and carving, and decorating with underglazes and the sgraffito technique. Lucy will cover different styles and shapes of wheel-thrown vases, how to trim and carve with a narrow neck, and how to plan your own hand-painted and carved final designs. Beginners welcome if space allows, but preference will be given to those who have already taken a basic throwing class.
