Abstract Painting with Melanie Delgado

Join abstract painter Melanie Delgado for an all day exploration in mark making, shape curiosity & abstracting the world around us. Delgado will guide participants through a variety of warm ups using a mix of drawing and painting exercises. This workshop is for all levels. Beginners along with advanced painters will get a chance to try new materials and get a feel for the freedom of making an abstract composition.

Melanie works and lives in Glenford, New York. She has been a teaching artist for nearly 20 years. She believes her purpose is to be as open as possible both as a painter and an instructor. It can take time to develop a pleasing composition. Let's try it all and see what feels right for you!
