Printmaking Techniques

Teen Camps grades: 6-12

This camp offers a fantastic introduction to the ancient art of printmaking, featuring three distinct techniques. We’ll begin with Monotype printing, creating unique, one-of-a-kind prints using ink and a printing plate. Next, we’ll explore Gel Plate printing, where students will use stencils, masks, and layering to create vibrant prints on various papers and substrates. Finally, we’ll dive into intaglio printmaking with drypoint etching, teaching students how to prepare their plates, create tonal effects through mark-making, and print using a printing press. It’s a hands-on journey into the world of printmaking, where creativity and technique come together!

Please Note: This camp is limited to 6 students. A $50 material fee will be applied at checkout.
