Drawing from Life

In this drawing-focused course, students will learn to draw from both still life and the clothed model. Working with large sheets of paper and charcoal, they will begin with gesture drawings and progress to more detailed, polished pieces. Throughout the class, students will explore key concepts such as perspective, foreshortening, and composition, all of which will help refine their understanding of shape and proportion. The skills developed in this course will be a great addition to any portfolio! A $50 model fee is required and will be added at checkout.
