Welcome to the KAC Pottery Annex where people of all ages can explore the magical properties of clay.
Our new space includes a pottery studio with ten pottery wheels, a glazing room and a handbuilding and children's clay studio. KAC offers clay and pottery classes for all ages and levels.
Learn something new or refine your skills. Let your creativity flow with hand-built or wheel thrown projects. In this class students we will learn to throw different sizes and shape vessels as well as a variety of glazing techniques.
View ClassThis small group class for teens will focus solely on the wheel. Learn the basics of wheel throwing and make a variety of thrown forms. Students will also have the option of hand-building. Class is limited to 8 students so register early.
View ClassLearning to throw on a pottery wheel requires discipline and focus. As a child's skills improve, so does their self-esteem! In this class students will create a variety of vessels as they learn the basics of clay and glazing.
View ClassThe benefits children get from working with clay are many. Clay has a calming effect which keeps them engaged in a single task while their imagination takes over. It is also a great way to improve your child's fine motor skills, sensory development and self-esteem. Students will make a variety of forms in this class, learning the basics of hand-building techniques as they design and create their own masterpieces! An additional $2 per week clay and firing fee will be applied at checkout.
