David Hughes
In 2005 David joined the KAC faculty, making a career change from commercial photographer to ceramics and moved from New York City to Katonah. While in the city, David worked as a photographer, and worked with many renown photographers as a darkroom technician. David got back into pottery after a ten year break by renting shelf space in a small pottery studio in Chelsea. Soon after, he was a member of the faculty, and not long after that he became a part owner. David also worked as Director of the Clay Education Center in Lodi NJ. David also has pursued his interest in photography, teaching in the traditional and digital format.
