Metalsmithing for Teens

In this metalsmithing class we will discover the amazing capabilities of metal. Students will learn how to design and create jewelry and small objects in copper and brass. The techniques covered will include: sawing, piercing, forming, finishing, chain making, cold connections, soldering. At the end of the class you will be able to explain how metal is malleable, ductile and fusible, all while making art! You will leave the class with a finished ring and small object of your choice!
