Anatomy for the Artist
Length: 3h.
We will analyze the human form in terms of mass, planes and line, study- ing the shapes of the human body and how they interact with each other. By truly observing the figure model, students will learn to turn complex anatomical forms into simple geometric masses. We will also examine the relationship between the muscles and skeleton as well as the anatomy of secondary and tertiary forms such as arms, legs, hands, feet and facial features.
