Emily Repp grew up in SW Ohio and earned a B.S. in Art Education in 2010 from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. As Youth Coordinator and Instructor at Brazee Street Studios, Emily taught workshops in kilnformed and flameworked glass in Cincinnati, Ohio, until 2015. Emily then moved to NYC and worked as a Production Assistant at Jono Pandolfi Designs, creating ceramic dinnerware, and taught classes at UrbanGlass in Brooklyn. In 2017, Emily joined her partner, Zackary Waite, at his company, Waited Collective, developing a line of handmade housewares in ceramic and wood, which they sell at festivals and craft fairs all over the East Coast. She was granted the Youth Art Fellowship at Peters Valley School of Craft in the Summer of 2019. Emily joined the staff at KAC in 2019 as the Ceramics Studio Technician, and loves sharing her passion for Ceramics with students of all ages.
