Eddie Nino

A professional fine artist and teacher based in Norwalk (CT), Eddie Nino's rigorous academic training brings a traditional foundation but yet modern vision to both his work and art lessons.

Born in Colombia, Eddie NiƱo moved to the United States at the age of 14 and began classical training in the Stamford and Greenwich area focusing on portrait painting and drawing. He continued his studies in New York City at Grand Central Academy of Art, The Art Students League of New York (with teachers such as Harvey Dinnerstein, Michael Grimaldi, and Max Ginsburg) and with noted art teacher Andrew Reiss in Brooklyn, NY. After studying for more than 10 years he then launched his carrier as a serious fine artist and now continues to pass his knowledge that steams back from artists such as Frank Vincent DuMond and Ted Seth Jacobs to students of all ages.

Eddie's many honors and accomplishments include private commissions, solo and group shows, numerous awards from the tri-state area, and published artwork in the book: Classical Life Drawing Studio.
